Description du produit

Application:

Tungsten  rods are mainly used as heater, support pillar, feeder and fastener in vacuum or reducing atmosphere high temperature furnace. Moreover, serve as light source in lighting industry, electrode in glass and tombarthite melting, and welding equipments.

Description:
Tungsten rod can be manufactured in random length pieces or cut to meet customers' desired lengths. There are three different surface processes which are provided upon the desired end use:
1. Black tungsten rod- Surface is "as swaged" or "as drawn"; retaining a coating of processing lubricants and oxides;
2. Cleaned tungsten alloy rod- Surface is chemically cleaned to remove all lubricants and oxides;
3. Ground tungsten rod  Surface is centerless ground to remove all coating and to achieve precise diameter control.

Features:
The outstanding feature of tungsten rod  is that they can be batch operated. Among the rod-like metal materials, tungsten rod has the highest melting point. In heat, electric conduction and electron emission, it performs very well. The tungsten rod  is also characterized by high density, low dilatation coefficient and lowest metallic vapor pressure.he density of our tungsten rod  is higher than 18.8g/cm3; purity, 99.5%. This has met the GB 4187-84 and AKM QB/WB-2006 Standard.

 Theoretical density: 19.3g/cm3

Quality standard: ISO 9001 pure tungsten rod

Purpose: Pure tungsten rod

Tungsten rods are mainly used as heaters, struts, feeders and fasteners in vacuum or reductive atmosphere high temperature furnaces. In addition, it is used as a light source in the lighting industry, electrodes for glass and rare earth melting, and welding equipment.

Tungsten rods can be made into any length of pieces or cut to meet customer requirements. Three different surface processes are available depending on the desired end use: a layer of processing lubricant and oxide is retained; 2. Cleaned tungsten alloy rods -- the surface has been chemically cleaned to remove all lubricants and oxides; Pure Tungsten Rod 3. Grind tungsten rod - Centerless surface grinding removes all coatings to achieve precise diameter control.

Tungsten application overview
Tungsten has the highest melting point of any metal element, a high density (19.3 g/cm³), close to that of gold, and a high hardness. In addition, tungsten also has good electrical and thermal conductivity, small expansion coefficient and other characteristics, so it is widely used in alloys, electronics, chemical and other fields, among which hard alloy is the largest tungsten consumption field.
Iron and steel
As an important alloying element, tungsten can improve the strength, hardness and wear resistance of steel. It is widely used in the production of various steels. Common tungsten-containing steels include high speed steel, tungsten steel and tungsten-cobalt magnetic steel with high magnetization and coercive magnetic force.
Tungsten carbide base carbide
Tungsten carbide has high wear resistance and refractory, and its hardness is close to diamond, so it is often used in some hard alloys. Tungsten carbide is currently the largest consumer of tungsten. This kind of carbide is a powder metallurgy product made by sintering tungsten carbide micron powder and metal binders (such as cobalt, nickel and molybdenum) in a vacuum furnace or hydrogen reduction furnace. Tungsten carbide base carbide is generally can be divided into tungsten carbide - cobalt, tungsten carbide - titanium carbide - cobalt, tungsten carbide - titanium carbide - tantalum carbide (niobium) - cobalt and steel carbide four categories, these tungsten carbide base carbide is mainly used in the manufacture of cutting tools, mining tools and wire drawing die.

Alloy with heat strength and wear resistance
Tungsten has the highest melting point of all metals and has a high hardness, so it is often used in the production of heat-resistant and wear-resistant alloys. For example, tungsten and chromium, cobalt and carbon alloys are commonly used in the production of high-strength and wear-resistant parts such as aircraft engine valve and turbine impeller. Alloys of tungsten and other refractory metals, such as tantalum, niobium, molybdenum and rhenium, are often used to make high-strength parts, such as aerorocket nozzels and engines.
High gravity alloy
Due to its high density and high hardness, tungsten has become an ideal material for making high-specific gravity alloys. These high-specific gravity alloys are divided into W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu, W-Co, W-WC-Cu, W-Ag and other main series according to their composition characteristics and uses. This kind of alloy has the characteristics of large specific ratio, high strength, strong absorption of rays, large thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion coefficient, good electrical conductivity, weldability and good workability, and is widely used in aerospace, aviation, military, oil drilling, electrical instruments, medical and other industries.
Electronic field
Tungsten and its alloys are widely used in electronics and power industry because of its strong plasticity, low evaporation rate, high melting point and strong electron emission ability.

Chemical industry
Tungsten compounds are commonly used as catalysts and inorganic colors. For example, tungsten disulfide is used as a lubricant and catalyst in the preparation of synthetic gasoline, bronze tungsten oxide is used in painting, and calcium or magnesium tungsten is used in phosphors.
Other fields
Tungsten is used as a glass or metal seal because its thermal expansion is similar to that of boron silicate glass. Tungsten has low sensitivity, so it is used to make high purity tungsten-gold jewelry. Tungsten is also used in radiopharmacology and is used in the hines of some Musical Instruments.
